Grade 6
Grade 6 marks the beginning of lower secondary education, where students build on the knowledge and skills developed in primary school. At this level, learning becomes more challenging and encourages greater independence, critical thinking, and responsibility. Students are guided to become confident learners who can solve problems, work collaboratively, and apply their knowledge in meaningful ways.
Teachers provide a supportive and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, conduct research, and express themselves confidently. Learning includes discussions, group projects, practical activities, presentations, and technology-based lessons that connect classroom learning with real-life experiences.

Advanced Language and Communication Skills
Students strengthen their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in both English and Nepali. They improve grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and develop the ability to write essays, reports, creative compositions, and deliver presentations confidently.
Mathematical Thinking and Problem-Solving
Mathematics develops logical reasoning and analytical thinking through topics such as integers, fractions, decimals, percentages, algebra, geometry, measurement, and data handling. Students learn to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
Scientific Investigation and Inquiry
Science encourages observation, experimentation, and investigation. Students explore life science, physical science, environmental science, energy, matter, and technology through hands-on activities and simple research projects.
Social Studies and Civic Understanding
Students develop a deeper understanding of history, geography, culture, government, and civic responsibilities. Lessons promote environmental awareness, respect for diversity, leadership, and responsible citizenship.
Technology and Digital Literacy
Students improve their digital skills by using technology for research, presentations, communication, and creative learning while practicing responsible and safe digital behavior.
